Roomdoku is a logic puzzle game where you place suspects across a grid of rooms by deducing from a list of clues — a hybrid of Sudoku-style constraint solving and a whodunnit mystery. Each puzzle has a unique solution, and once you've placed everyone correctly the missing cell reveals the victim.
Tap a suspect from the bottom pool to select them, then tap a cell to place them. Long-press a cell for the candidate menu (✓ "could be here" / ✗ "ruled out") to track your deductions. Use the clue list at the top to narrow down where each suspect can stand. Hit Submit when every suspect is placed and you'll find out who the culprit is.
Solving at least one puzzle per day extends your streak. Streak Freezes (earned from rewarded ads or purchasable in the shop) cover one missed day automatically. The streak resets to 0 only after two or more consecutive missed days with no freezes available.
There are three hint types:
You start with a small hint inventory; more can be earned via daily missions, friend referrals, and rewarded ads, or purchased in the shop.
Fixed in version 1.2.5+ — paid purchases now grant the full count. The 3-token visible cap only applies to free top-ups via rewarded ads. Please update to the latest version; if the missing tokens don't appear after the update, contact support.
Open the app, then go to Profile → Edit Profile → Linked Accounts. Tap "Link" next to Google or Apple ID and complete the sign-in. Your hints, streak, and solved puzzles will then be backed up to the cloud and restored automatically when you reinstall or sign in on another device. Sign in with Apple is currently iOS-only.
Signing out wipes the local data on the current device and starts a fresh anonymous session. Your progress remains safe in the cloud under your linked account — sign back in to restore it. Device-level preferences (theme, language, sound, push toggle) are preserved.
This shouldn't happen — when switching accounts the app pulls the new account's cloud snapshot. If you signed in with the wrong Google/Apple account by mistake, sign out and sign back in with your original account to restore that account's progress. If both accounts share the same device, contact support with the date / approximate solve count and we'll investigate.
Remove Ads is a one-time non-consumable purchase. Refunds are handled by Google Play / Apple App Store directly, per their refund policies (typically within 48 hours of purchase). Visit Google Play refund or Apple's Report a Problem page to request one. Hint and Streak Freeze packs are consumable and not refundable once granted.
Profile → Friends → tap the "+" icon. You can search by friend code (visible on each player's profile) or accept incoming requests. Once you and a friend are connected, you'll see each other's daily streaks, leaderboards, and can send "nudges" to encourage continued play.

Profile → Edit Profile → scroll to the bottom → "Delete Account". This permanently removes your cloud progress, friend list, team membership, and Firebase account. The action is irreversible — once deleted there is no way to recover the data.
