🔍 Roomdoku

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Roomdoku (the "App") and define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the developer and each user. By installing, launching, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

• App: The Roomdoku logic-puzzle game and its ancillary services (leaderboards, teams, friends, missions) provided on Android / iOS.
• User: Any individual who installs or uses the App.
• Account: A per-device anonymous identifier issued automatically on first launch.
• Virtual Items: In-app digital goods such as hint items and the ads-removal entitlement.

3. Service

• The App offers puzzle play, daily / monthly leaderboards, team and friend features, daily / weekly missions, and in-app purchases.
• The developer may change content, structure, or UI for service improvement with advance notice. For urgent security or operational reasons, post-hoc notice may be given instead.
• Network-dependent features (leaderboards, teams, friends, sync) may be temporarily unavailable depending on connectivity.

4. Account and Nickname

• An account is created automatically per device via Firebase Anonymous Authentication on first launch.
• You may freely set and change your nickname. Nicknames in the following categories may be changed or removed without notice:
  • Impersonating others, or containing personal or contact information
  • Profane, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, or violent expressions
  • Advertising, spam, or unlawful content
• Deleting the App or switching devices may make the anonymous account unrecoverable. Full progress restoration is not guaranteed until an account-linking feature is added.

5. User Obligations

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App or extract its source code
• Use automation tools, macros, or emulator manipulation to submit fraudulent scores or disrupt leaderboards
• Impersonate other accounts or post false information
• Bypass or tamper with in-app payment systems
• Use team / friend features to spam, harass, or spread hate speech
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable law or public order

6. In-App Purchases and Virtual Items

• Paid items such as hints and ads removal are processed through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase.
• Ads Removal is a non-consumable entitlement that persists for the purchasing account and may be restorable on a new device via the same store account.
• Hint items are consumables depleted upon use and are not eligible for refund after consumption.
• Refund policy follows the rules of the respective app store (Google Play, Apple App Store). For payment / refund issues, please contact the store first.
• Virtual items cannot be exchanged for cash or physical goods and cannot be transferred or resold between users.

7. Advertising

Users who have not purchased ads removal may see banner and interstitial ads served through Google AdMob. Ad content and links are provided by third parties, and the developer is not responsible for the contents of such ads.

8. Intellectual Property

• All copyrights and intellectual property rights in the App's code, puzzle data, characters, images, audio, and UI design belong to the developer.
• You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or any of its components without the developer's prior written consent.
• Strings uploaded by you (such as nicknames or team names) may be used, free of charge and on a non-exclusive basis, for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.

9. Suspension and Termination

• The developer may temporarily suspend all or part of the App for maintenance, troubleshooting, or policy changes.
• End-of-service (EOS) will be announced at least 30 days in advance via this page or in-app notice.
• If prohibited use under Section 5 is confirmed, scores may be invalidated, the account may be excluded from leaderboards, and access may be restricted. Related data will be removed according to our retention policy.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

• The App is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or freedom from errors.
• The developer is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, network failures, device defects, or outages of third-party services (Google, Apple, etc.).
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer's total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to the App in the preceding 12 months.

11. Changes to the Terms

If these Terms change, we will provide at least 7 days' advance notice (30 days for changes unfavorable to users) via this page or in-app notice. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are interpreted and enforced under the laws of the Republic of Korea. For disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App, any exclusive court jurisdiction set by applicable law applies; otherwise, the Seoul Central District Court shall be the court of first instance.
